ultraviolet (UV) radiation UV exposure aging test chambers for pv modules lab
UV Aging Test Chambe for PV Module purpose
To precondition the module with ultra-violet (UV) radiation before the thermal cycle/humidity freeze tests to identify those materials and adhesive bonds that are susceptible to UV degradation
UV Aging Test chamber for pv module apparatus
1.A temperature -controlled test chamber with a window or fixtures for a UV light source and the module under test. The chamber shall be capable of maintaining the module temperature at 60±5ºC
5.For light sources with a negligible spectral content in the visible range the module shall be short circuited. Alternatively the module can be connected to a load sized such that the module will operate near the maximum power point . the latter is recommended for light sources emitting a significant portion of light in the visible spectrum where the module exhibits a power equal to or large than20% of its STC measured power

uv irradiation chambers can simulate the sun, rain and dew to damage the material, the machine using UV lamp simulate the effect of sunlight, cold rain and dew. Being tested materials are placed in a certain environment which the light and moisture are alternating. The materials are tested for several days or weeks, you can know the damage of material at outside for several months or several years, Damage types include: bleaching, discoloration, loss of light, powder, crack, turbidity, bubble-based, embrittlement, strength decline and oxidation.
